Our Automatic Container Damage Detection System (ADDS) is the first commercially available solution for automatic container damage inspection. The solution uses modern AI software with line scan camera technologies in the gate area and PTZ-cameras in quayside to provide high-quality images and digitize the container condition.
Our Container Damage Detection Solution is an end-to-end automated inspection system built for terminals, depots, and yards. It uses AI-enhanced camera gates, machine vision, and integrated analytics platforms to detect and report container damage with precision—saving time, reducing labor, and improving reliability.
Key components:
✓ Multi-angle HD/IR cameras mounted at gates or inspection lanes.
✓ AI software engine trained on thousands of container damage types.
✓ Integration with TOS to auto-tag containers requiring hold, repair, or clearance.
✓ Cloud dashboard with container history, damage mapping, and reporting tools.
✓ Mobile app access for inspectors, supervisors, and maintenance teams.
With our solution, you gain not just faster inspection—but a smarter, traceable, and dispute-proof damage detection system that enhances container lifecycle management and customer satisfaction.
TopView identifies container IDs from the roofs of containers. The solution consists of robust cameras installed in the middle and both ends of spreaders with efficient illuminators to capture high-quality images regardless of the time of day or environmental conditions. Visy TopView prevents time-consuming false moves and incorrect stacking locations thus verifying that loading and unloading processes proceed as planned.
TopView’s advantage is its agile and innovative functionality which accelerates container handling processes, instantly increasing a terminal’s operating capacity and stack accuracy. With Visy TopView, no container is being shipped or stacked to a wrong location and the acceleration in (un)loading processes is remarkable. The system also enhances safety and security: the need for manual work in yard operations is reduced as fewer people are required to operate in the immediate vicinity of the cranes.
